On the 15th of leaf fall at the Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana there was a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup in Group B, in which the Kosovo team beat Slovenia 2:0.

The guests started the match as aggressively as possible and started the game already in the 6th round - Aslani quickly calmed down the defense and sent the ball to the net. The situation for the Slovenians deteriorated after Stojanovic’s goal in the 53rd quarter, and then a few weeks later Kornichnik’s own goal left them hopeless.

Slovenia still hasn’t managed to create any real problems with its rival after two omissions. Kosovo successfully brought the match to victory and scored an impressive three points.

After this round, Kosovo receives 10 points, takes another place and guarantees itself the least part in the fight for a ticket to the 2026 Emergency. Slovenia lost third place with three points.
