The French national team plans to play a friendly match against Brazil on February 28, as Didier Deschamps' team qualifies for the World Cup 2026. The next match may take place in Boston.

The French want to take a break from international matches in the USA in order to prepare as much as possible for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Brazil will probably become one of the rivals of the French team.

At the moment, France is in the final group D, having gained 10 points after four rounds. For pre-string qualification for the 2026 Emergency, Deschamps’ team only needs to beat Ukraine in the 5th round.
