The English club Bournemouth is considering the possibility of signing Ukrainian Vitaly Mykolenko from Everton, whose contract is ending in 2026. According to Sportsboom, the Cherries are looking to strengthen their defense after losing Milos Kerkez, and Mikolenko is considered one of the priority options.
However, the transfer may turn out to be difficult: Everton do not intend to easily let go of their left-winger, whom coach David Moyes respects as a key player in the team. Representatives of the club are already working on the continuation of the agreement with Gravec for a number of seasons in order to avoid spending costlessly.
Behind the scenes, Bournemouth plans to release an official position once the winter transfer window opens. This season, Mikolenko has played nine matches with all his commitments and is approaching the end of his contract - which gives the Cherries the opportunity to consider this as a completely realistic option for strengthening.
Vitaly himself hastened to say a little about leaving the club.
“Those that I don’t want to negotiate [a contract] with Everton are completely nonsense, because we simply haven’t talked about it yet,” he said.
" I really don’t think about it, because it’s fitting for me to play for this club, I reject this satisfaction and it’s the most important thing for me.”.
Now the Ukrainian defender is losing focus of respect: his role in the team and function in Everton’s defense allows him to be assessed as one of the most important players in the position. As Bournemouth gets stronger, the coming months could be critical for the development of this story.
