Manchester United and England legend David Beckham has relinquished his royal title. The dedication ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, where 50-year-old Beckham relinquished his honorary title from the hands of King Charles III.
As reported by Goal, this award, which was marked by rocks, was awarded for Beckham’s outstanding services to sports, as well as for his large-scale beneficial activity. Beckham, who wore a gray three-piece suit, witnessed a lot of disasters during the ceremony.

“This is an incredibly proud day for us, as well as for our homeland,” said Sir David after the ceremony.
“I grew up in the East End of London from a very modest homeland, and my dream was to become a professional footballer, playing for Manchester United and for my country. Everything else that came with it was incredible."
In addition to his illustrious football career, Beckham has been recognized for his extensive humanitarian work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for which he has been working since 2005.. He also played a key role in London's bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games.
