Dynamo President Igor Surkis commented on the information about any conflict between head coach Oleksandr Shovkovsky and team veteran Andriy Yarmolenko.
“Whichever you feed me with, with whom I get along more - Shovkovsky and Yarmolenko, it is less important for you to know, since I get along with both of them, just as I do with Buyalsky and other footballers. At a time, I get in touch with the team two or three times a week - I come to training, get along with them,” said Surkis.
The President added that the working moments between the coach and team leader are a normal professional process:.
“They may believe me, they may not believe me, but I want to emphasize: there was no such conflict. There were working moments. Yarmolenko, as a result of the investigation, has the right to tell the coach, and that’s fine,” explained Surkis.
He also noted that the journalists were exaggerating the situation:.
“The journalists stirred up some kind of conflict, which also impacted the team, which, leading to the rakhunka, allowed them to pass on the remaining hills. I would pray if the team would always have leaders like Yarmolenko. It’s impossible to build a team without such players,” added the Dynamo president.
Guess what, Dynamo's head coach even commented on the possible conflict with Yarmolenko.
