The French police were looking for four suspects at the massively looted Louvre - just ahead of the French championship match between Paris and Lyon.
The incident took place at the Jean Bouin stadium on Wednesday evening. According to the information of the French media, people calmly checked the entrance together with the patients, when the specialists of the special BRB team carried out a close-up operation.
The looting of the Louvre took place several days earlier - in the week of the 19th. Zlochints in balaclavas were quickly greeted by repair robots along the Senya embankment in order to enter the museum through the vantage elevator. Two people made it to the Apollo Gallery, the third checked the call.
Nine items from the collection of treasures of Napoleon and Empress Josephine were brought from the museum - among them, a nasto, a brooch and a tiara. The most valuable exhibit, the Regent diamond of 140.64 carats, was lost in the city.
The value of the stolen assets is estimated at 88 million euros. The police have already tracked six suspects, but the details themselves have not yet been found..
