Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and other social payments. Some pensioners may lose payments if they do not undergo identification in a timely manner. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Lugansk region told how this can be done.

The PFU explained that in Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 299 defines the procedure for paying pensions and making insurance payments to persons who temporarily reside abroad, live in temporarily occupied territories (TOT), or have left TOT and live in territory controlled by Ukraine.

“To ensure that pension payments do not stop next year, it is necessary to undergo physical identification of the person before December 31 of the current year,” the message says..

The Foundation noted that there are several ways to pass identification:.

personal application to any PFU service center or to banking institutions where the person receives a pension;

authorization in your personal account on the PFU web portal using CEP, " Pіdpis\;

by video conferencing in compliance with the legislation in the field of electronic services, during the session of which an identification document is presented in accordance with the Procedure established by the board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

The Fund added that these citizens also need to inform the Main Directorate regarding the fact of non-receipt of pensions from the pension authorities of the Russian Federation.
