Fulgham's office informed head coach Mark Silva of his plans to extend his contract.

According to journalist David Ornstein from The Athletic, the Portuguese have a clause of approximately 15 million pounds.

Despite the presence of detailed negotiations, the parties have established a positive relationship. The club will protect Silva at Craven Cottage, and as a mentor himself, he is still focused on the team’s results. The current contract of the 48-year coach lasts until the end of this season - which has been extended until 2023.

Mark Silva has been working with Fulgemi for the fifth time. In the debut season, we won the Championship and brought the team to the Premier League, after which we won three times in the top division - the first time in ten years. The best result under the leadership of Silvi was 11th place and 54 points in the 2024/25 season, which became a club record for the Premier League.

The Portuguese coach has previously been linked with a potential move to Nottingham Forest, but Fulgham intends to make the most of it or lose his position at the club.
