On Thursday, October 16, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will be on a working visit to the United States, where he will hold a number of strategic meetings with representatives of the defense and energy industries, as well as with members of the US Congress, Suspilne reports, citing sources in the Ukrainian delegation.

Negotiations are planned throughout the day with key defense and energy companies that play an important role in cooperation between the two countries. In addition, before the official meeting with US President Donald Trump, Zelensky will hold a series of meetings with lawmakers in Congress and will have a separate meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian media.

It is not yet known whether a joint media briefing of the presidents will take place after the bilateral meeting scheduled for October 17; details on this matter have not yet been made public.
