The World Boxing Association (WBA) has named British athlete Moses Ithaum as the mandatory challenger for the title held by experienced Kubrat Pulev.
The Bulgarian boxer has the title of regular champion of the organization and he was supposed to defend it in a fight against Michael Hunter, but he will not be able to participate in the fight.
For this reason, the WBA has demanded that a meeting between 44-year-old Pulev and 20-year-old Itauma be arranged within the next 30 days.
The championship match is expected to take place in January. Let us remind you that the WBA super champion is Ukrainian Alexander Usik.
It was previously reported that Chisora \u200b\u200brefused Itauma’s offer to fight because of the price of the fight.
Itauma explained why he is in no hurry to fight with Usyk Novyny on Telegram and WhatsApp. Subscribe to our channels https://t. me/korrespondentnet and WhatsApp.
