The director of the Ukrainian junior national team U-20, Vladislav Kisil, commented on the minimal defeat of the Blues in the match against Spain (0:1) at the World Championship 2025.

“Obviously, we were really embarrassed, even though we wanted to go further, otherwise there would be an important match, and it turned out like this. For me, this is a very important duel, like, finally, the entire World Championship.

Still, this is the first call to the team - and such a high level of appreciation for the tournament. We knew that Spain would act like this, and we were preparing for this. We played well, but we didn’t have a few left in front to equalize the shells,” said Kisil.

Guess what, the Ukrainian U-20 team completed its participation in the 2025 Emergency, losing to Spain in the 1/8 finals.
