Ukrainian law enforcement officers exposed the scheme for smuggling jewelry and luxury items. Luxor accessories were illegally transported across the border by Ukrzaliznitsa from Poland.

This was reported in the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine (BEB). As a result of the investigation, 11 participants in the criminal group announced suspicion.

As a result of searches in the train, store and premises of the defendants, smuggled products of well -known brands were seized - jewelry and watches - with a total value of more than 10 million dollars. Law enforcement officers also confiscated 800 thousand. dollars in cash.

" The court decision seized the property of the suspects, which was acquired at the funds received from criminal activity, in volume cars and yacht. The suspect has chosen a preventive measure, ”said.

In September, Ukrainian customs officers discovered at the Lviv-Yuzhnaya post in the Lviv region 1891 a Savage perfume bottle from Dior. Although the products were declared as original, the copyright holder of the Christian Dior trademark officially confirmed that this is a counterfeit that does not meet the requirements of the company.

As a result, customs officers drew up a protocol on violation of customs rules, and fake perfumes seized. Ukrainians warn that fake cosmetics can be dangerous to health, because it is produced without compliance with standards and quality control.
