Iron ore exports from Ukraine in January - July of 2025 decreased by 8% compared to the same period last year - to 19.1 million tons.

This is evidenced by GMK Center calculations based on data from the state customs service.

In July, revenue from ore export decreased by 2.4% to $ 190.9 million, and in seven months of the year - by 20.3%, to $ 1.46 billion.

The industries indicate several reasons for the decline: high tariffs for railway transportation, instability in Ukrzaliznitzі, as well as a lack of qualified personnel, which affects the volume of production and export activity.
