The National Bank introduced a modified bill of 20 hryvnias into circulation. It is distinguished by the slogan placed in the right upper side of the back side: \! Glory to the heroes! At the same time, it is not necessary to specifically exchange old bills for new Ukrainians - modified twenties will gradually displace “ordinary” out of circulation from the turnover.

This was reported in the NBU itself. They noted there: all other elements of design and protection of these banknotes correspond to the bills of the 2018 sample.

" Citizens do not need to specifically exchange banknotes with a face value of 20 hryvnias of the previous sample for modified banknotes, ”the report said.

At the same time, it is emphasized: the new 20 UAH is required to receive all individuals and legal entities throughout Ukraine. That is, for example, supermarkets, banks, etc.. do not have the right to refuse to accept such money.
