The head coach of the Brazilian Football national football team, Carlo Ancheelotti, who previously headed the Real Madrid, received a punishment for tax fraud.

Madrid court sentenced the coach to one year in prison. He also must pay a fine of 386 361.93 euros. In addition, the Italian is deprived of the right to receive state assistance, subsidies and tax benefits for three years.

Ancelotti was found guilty of tax fraud in 2014 and was justified by a similar violation for 2015.

The 66-year-old coach himself during the court hearings in April insisted that he did not want to deceive the tax service and acted in accordance with the instructions of the club and consultants.

For six years in Real Madrid, Carlo Ancheelotti won 15 trophies, including two titles in La League and three Champions League. The specialist came to the post of head coach of the Madrid in 2013 and 2021.
