Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko temporarily dropped out of the competition.

The athlete reported on her page on the social network Instagram that she had an operation.

“We'll have to be left -handed,” Tsurenko noted.

As you know, the last time the Ukrainian went to courts in November 2024 in the playoffs of the Billy Jin King Cup, when the Ukrainian national team played two matches against Austrian tennis players.

In April, Tsurenko filed a lawsuit against the Women's Association of tennis (WTA), accusing the organization of causing emotional stress.

Later WTA responded to Tsurenko’s accusation of terrorism support.
