In Ukraine, the government plans to increase the state educational order for a number of technical and educational specialties. So the state creates the conditions for young people during training to gain skills that will be needed in the labor market during a large -scale post -war recovery. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economics Yulia Sviridenko during a speech at the Conference " UA.

Sviridenko noted that in the next academic year the government plans to increase the state educational order in such professional areas:.

Engineering, production and construction - 27.6%;

Education - 15.8%;

Information technologies - 13.4%;

Security and defense - 7.6%;

rural, forestry, fishing and veterinary medicine - 6.7%.

She added that now there is a request for specialists of technical specialties, so the government adjusts the state educational order.

" Ukrainian business calls the shortage of personnel number one problem. Therefore, the development of education, high -quality career guidance and development of a system of training and retraining is a priority. Our task as a state to create conditions so that young people have the skills that are now needed in the labor market, ”the minister summed up.

Recall that in 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers made changes, increasing the state order for the training of specialists in the fields of defense, healthcare, construction and transport, which is part of the general strategy aimed at providing the state by specialists most in demand in the conditions of development of the country.
