In Ukraine, new rules for the priority of crossing the border by passenger buses, which normalize the procedure for arrival of transport to the checkpoints and use of the system of є Cherga. From now on, carriers must responsibly book temporary slots, otherwise they will lose the right to the queue next month, which will reduce the queues and speed up the movement.

This is stated in the draft order of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine (Ministry of Development). We are talking about official standardization of the procedure for using the bacher for carriers that operate international flights.

The new rules introduce a clear system of booking slots, and also determine what the waiting area should look like, and provide for responsibility for abuse of the system. In particular, carriers who systematically book places in line, but do not go on a flight, lose the right to use the system next month. The new order also provides for interaction with border guards and technical administrators to ensure the control and transparency of the process. Thus, due to the accurate accounting of vehicles and liability of carriers, checkpoints will work faster and more efficiently. The reason for the introduction of such new rules is a sharp increase in automobile traffic due to a full-scale war and closing the airspace and sea space. The lines at the border sometimes reached 10-12 kilometers, including buses with passengers who could not leave or get to the checkpoint in time.

It is expected that the introduction of systemic rules should reduce the load, improve the quality of passenger service and reduce the risks of corruption abuses at the border. The document is now published in the form of a draft order and is being prepared for implementation after the completion of the stage of public discussion.
