The company of DTEK of VIE in 2024 received 1.584 billion UAH profit against 547 million UAH losses a year earlier. This happened due to an increase in the generation of electricity after the completion of the I line of the Tiligul VES in Nikolaevschina during the war.

The company said that the Tiligul VES, put into operation at the end of the spring of 2023, provided a high level of generation in 2024 during winter and summer power outages, which made it possible to reduce the problem of capacity deficiency in the south of Ukraine.

In addition, the company's financial condition was affected by the repayment of debt to the WIE sector for 2023, as well as ensuring calculations for electricity generated in 2024 at almost 80%.

The company emphasized that financial resources are now heading for the construction of new wind energy facilities and energy storage systems.

The total construction of the new VES is almost 400 MW, electricity storage installations - 200 MW. The total cost of these projects that should be commissioned in this and next year is about 30 billion UAH.
