In Ukraine, citizens who do not have enough funds to pay for utilities can issue a subsidy. To obtain it, you need to meet certain criteria. The Ministry of Social Policy told who needs to apply for the appointment of subsidies for an unheated period.

When recipients of subsidies should report on changes.

In Ukraine, most households who received a housing subsidy in the heating season will be re -relevant automatically (if data on their property condition or the composition of households has not changed).

The Ministry of Social Policy explained that if such changes have occurred, then the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) should be informed about them. The legislation provides for a notification within 30 days from the date of the occurrence of such changes.

So, for the appointment of a subsidy for an unheated period, it is necessary to contact the PFU with the corresponding statement and the declaration if: if:.

A person rents housing for which he pays housing and communal services;

The household has internally displaced persons (IDP);

the number of actually living in the living room is less than the number of registered in it;

The household claims to appoint a housing subsidy for the acquisition of liquefied gas, solid and liquid furnace domestic fuel;

For the heating period, the subsidy was assigned at 0.0 UAH.

How to submit documents for a subsidy.

The department noted that in the case of submitting an application within two months from the beginning of the unheated season (that is, in May or June), the housing subsidy has been appointed from the beginning of the season.

You can submit documents to PFU in one of the ways:.

by mail or personally in one of the service centers PFU;

Through the portal of electronic services (select the option “Application for the housing subsidy or benefit”) or the PFU mobile application;

Through the portal \;

In centers for the provision of administrative services (TsPAU);

Through authorized persons of the executive body of the rural, village, city council.
