In 2025, the Ministry of Defense plans to purchase 4.5 million FPV thrones for the needs of the Armed Forces. This was reported on Monday, March 10.

Director of the Procurement Policy Department MO Gleb Kanevsky recalled that more than 1.5 million drones were acquired in 2024. 96% of this amount was paid to Ukrainian manufacturers and suppliers. This had a positive effect on the development of the Ukrainian BPL production industry.

This year, the Ministry of Defense will send more than 110 billion UAH to the purchase of drones, in particular, more than 102 billion UAH - through the defense procurement agency (AOZ).

According to Gleb Kanevsky, all the procurement plans for 2025 received budget funds. This will allow you to saturate the front as soon as possible with unmanned aerial vehicles.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that in 2025 the military will receive FPV cries for 44 billion hryvnias. Last year, the main financial resource was aimed at the purchase of long -range drones, but now the priority has changed.

It was also reported that in January 2025 the production of drones in Ukraine increased 10 times compared to January last year.
