Every year on March 10, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the State Anthem of Ukraine. This holiday is quite young - it was approved on December 7, 2021 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

For the first time, the public performance of the song “Shche did not die of Ukrainian, I will,” took place on March 10, 1865 in Przemysl as the final number of a concert dedicated to Taras Shevchenko. That is why this date was chosen as the Day of the State Anthem. For the first time on the record, the anthem was recorded in the Cologne branch of the “Gramophone” in October 1910 in pursuance of Modest Mencinsky.

In 1917-1920, “Shche did not freeze,” became one of the state anthems of the UPR and ZUNR. So, the American edition of New York Times on June 17, 1917 published a note on approval of the official translation of the anthem of Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 15, 1992 approved the musical edition of m. Skoryka and E.. Stankovich (for choir and piano) of the state anthem, which was reflected in the Constitution of Ukraine.
