Any black hole is extremely difficult to detect. As for super -massive black holes located in the centers of the galaxy, they can only be found if they actively absorb matter. This process creates a very bright light when matter heats up and friction occurs. The authors of the study used data from the recently disabled GAIA space telescope to study the movement of 16 super -speed stars in the Milky Way. The study showed that 7 stars were accelerated by the Sagittarius Sagittarius Supply Black Hole in the center of our galaxy. The remaining 9 stars probably arrived in the Milky Way from the Galaxy Big Magellanov Cloud. Analysis of the movement of these hypers -based stars showed that most likely they went on a trip to another galaxy under the influence of an ultra -massive black hole in the center of a large Magellanov cloud. This black hole, according to scientists, has a mass that is 600,000 times more than that of the sun. But this black hole, if it really exists, has yet to be found.

Now the large Magellanic cloud, along with the alleged black hole, rotates around the Milky Way at a distance of about 160,000 light years, which is close enough by cosmic standards. At the same time, this galaxy is gradually approaching the Milky Way.

Astronomers believe that after about 2 billion years, a neighboring galaxy will encounter the milky way and their merger will begin. After the collision of the two galaxies, two ultra -massive black holes collide. The smaller black hole eventually merges with the black hole of the Sagittarius A*, the mass of which is 4.3 million times more than that of the Sun. This will lead to the creation of an even more massive black hole in the center of the Milky Way.

The authors of the study intend to confirm the existence of an ultra -massive black hole in a neighboring galaxy and determine its properties during future observations.
