Astronomers with the help of the Euclid space telescope discovered a ring of light, which surrounds the distant galaxy NGC 6505, located at a distance of 590 million light years from us. This is one of the most rare phenomena in space is called Einstein’s ring and in this case it is perfect, scientists say. Such ideal Rings of Einstein are very rarely found. The study is published in the journal Astronomy \u0026 Astrophysics, writes Sciencealert.

More than 100 years ago, Albert Einstein predicted that any objects in space with a huge mass can distort the light with their gravity. Astronomers use gravitational lenses, which are the huge galaxies and accumulations of galaxies located relatively not far from us in order to see more distant galaxies. They are so far that they look very dull, but with the help of gravitational lenses their light intensifies.

When the light of a distant galaxy passes through a closer galaxy to us, the latter curves, stretches and enhances this light with its gravity. When the mass of a close galaxy is very large, an interesting and beautiful phenomenon arises, which is called the Einstein ring. The light of the distant galaxy is distorted in such a way that it turns into a ring of light surrounding a gravitational lens. Einstein’s new Ring surrounds the NGC 6505 galaxy, which distorted a distant galaxy located at a distance of about 4.42 billion light years from us with its gravity.

According to astronomers, in this case, the gravitational lens is located in such a way that Einstein’s perfect ring arose, which is very rare. At the same time, in the ring of light you can see four bright spots, which are duplicate images of a distant galaxy.

The new galaxy, which has not yet received the name, was discovered for the first time and it could not be seen without a gravitational lens. It is interesting that astronomers, despite the fact that the NGC 6505 has been known since the end of the 19th century, has never seen such a distortion of light around it. Scientists say that this became possible thanks to powerful devices of the Euclid space telescope.

Now astronomers intend to study the discovered galaxy in more detail to find out what it is based on the data obtained.

Scientists say that the new discovery shows that the Euclid telescope works as it should. It is designed to search for gravitational lenses to try to find out the distribution of dark matter and understand its nature, as well as the nature of dark energy. They make up most of the matter and energy of the universe.

As Focus already wrote, Nikola Tesla was right, because physicists were able to transfer electricity through the air. Ultrasonic waves help to direct electricity in the right direction, as the study showed.

Focus also wrote that scientists talked about new technologies that will help to reveal the secrets of Venus.
