According to scientists, the ancient settlement in the province of Saskachevan, Canada, completely changes the idea of \u200b\u200bthe history of civilizations of the indigenous peoples who lived in North America thousands of years ago.

Researchers discovered a settlement whose age is estimated at almost 11 thousand years and this discovery challenges the theory that the early indigenous peoples of North America were nomads, and not led a sedentary lifestyle.

The ancient settlement, called Asovannik, is one of the oldest in North America and its existence thousands of years ago shows that in Central Canada sedentary communities existed much earlier than expected.

On the territory of the settlement, scientists discovered the bones of extinct types of bison, stone tools, as well as large pits for breeding bonfires. Analysis of charcoal discovered in the pits showed that its age is at least 10,700 years. According to scientists, this means that ancient people lived in this settlement after the end of the last ice age, when the soil became suitable for growing agricultural plants.

The study showed that the settlement was used for a long period of time, and it was not just a place of short -term parking of bison hunters. Scientists came to the conclusion that the settlement was repeatedly re -occupied by indigenous residents for several thousand years.

As Focus already wrote, scientists decided a long -standing dispute and found out that people ate each other 18,000 years ago. Ancient people ate not only human meat, but also brains.

Focus wrote that scientists made an unexpected opening in the Spanish cave. Exploring the cave in the east of Spain, archaeologists discovered the Roman sanctuary, which is about 1900 years old. In addition, scientists have documented more than 110 rock drawings, which are 24,000 years old.

Focus also wrote that scientists have discovered the ancient mechanism in our brain. Our brain is an incredibly complex structure that still cannot be studied completely. Recently, scientists revealed one of his secrets, behind which his connection was hidden with the ancient core responsible for the most important aspects of our life.
