The legendary Romanian specialist Mircea Lucescu suffered surgery in his homeland.

The 79-year-old coach conducted an operation on the right thigh, which he postponed the year.

“I postponed this business because of the holidays and matches,” Mirce's decision explained.

In the hospital, Lucescu was visited by the Technical Director of the Romania Football Federation Mikhai Stokits.

Stokitsa spoke positively about the state of the steering team.

“When you go to the hospital, you usually expect a person to hurt. But with Mircea Lucescu everything is different. He is an incredible person. It seemed to me that he feels perfectly: he even got out of bed and moved a little.
