Kyiv law enforcement officers liquidated a channel for the illegal legalization of foreigners, which, according to investigators, was organized by citizens of another state. It consisted of concluding a fictitious marriage with a Ukrainian woman for the sake of a temporary residence permit.

" The organizer of the business turned out to be a 48-year-old foreigner living in Kyiv. He included his 31-year-old “countryman”, who also lives in the capital, and a 53-year-old resident of the Kyiv region in the deal,” the press service said.

Accomplices found potential “clients” among citizens of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan who wanted to freely travel to Ukraine and go home. Foreigners were offered to fictitiously marry Ukrainian citizens in order to be able to obtain a temporary residence permit in our country.

After this, the “businessmen” looked for women who, for 2-10 thousand hryvnia, agreed to enter into a fictitious marriage with foreigners and helped the men draw up documents. In general, the attackers received from foreigners from 1 to 3 thousand dollars for their “services”.
