The Ukrainian national team has added two awards to its medal tally at the 2025 Winter Universiade, which is taking place in Turin, Italy..

The first two silver medals of the competition for the Ukrainian team were won by freestylers Maria Aniychin and Oleg Boyko in the big air discipline.

In the finals, athletes had to complete two attempts, the best of which went into the final standings. Aniychin showed the second result in the first, and was the best in the second, but this was not enough to get ahead of the French freestyler Victoire Tillier.

Boyko was the leader after the first attempt, but the Ukrainian’s unsuccessful second attempt allowed Slovenian Klemen Vidmar to overtake him.

Another Ukrainian Daniil Stepanyuk stopped one step away from the podium, taking fourth place in the final.
