The oldest woman in Ukraine lives in the village of Chartorysk in Volyn. Ekaterina Kots will turn 108 years old in the fall of 2024.

The long-liver, born in 1916, has a large number of heirs: she raised three daughters, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. The secret of her longevity was discussed in a TSN report.

According to one of the daughters of 108-year-old Ekaterina, the woman was never angry with anyone and was pious, and since childhood she worked on a collective farm. Even in old age, up to 100 years old, Kots continued to run her farm and loved to go to the forest to pick mushrooms and berries.

Fellow villagers told reporters that Ekaterina Kots is always smiling, friendly and very active.
