On Wednesday, January 15, the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup of the 2024/25 season started in Ruhpolding, Germany.. As part of the competition day, an individual race for men was held.

The winner of the race was the Norwegian biathlete Vebjorn Soerum, who shot clean in four shootings.

The second place was taken by the Frenchman Emilien Claude, and the top three was completed by Andrejs Rastorguevs from Latvia.

Ukrainian biathletes failed the individual race. The best was Vitaly Mandzin, who made three mistakes and showed a result of 55.

Bogdan Tsymbal finished with two errors in 74th place. Anton Dudchenko finished 76 with three penalties. Note that these Ukrainians were higher than the Norwegian Johannes Boe, who showed an 85 result with five misses.
