Eddie Hearn, the promoter of former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, commented on the words of another former division title holder Tyson Fury about his retirement.

AJ's representative noted that he was disappointed to accept the British boxer's decision, but hoped that it was not final..

" It's still a big disappointment for British boxing fans because we have the chance to stage the biggest fight ever. If this was the last we saw of Fury, he's had a great career.

Tyson makes his own decisions, but, as I already said, this is not a sport in which if you don’t have a soul, then you need to force yourself to perform. So maybe he made the right decision. Still, I hope that this is Fury’s next game and we will see a fight against Joshua,” said Hearn.

Let us remind you that Joshua’s promoter had already taken an important step towards organizing a fight with Fury.
