On Sunday, January 12, on the final day of competition at the fourth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup, a single mixed relay took place.

Ukraine was represented in this single mix by Anton Dudchenko and Irina Petrenko.

Dudchenko used one spare cartridge in the first shooting and entered the range fifth. At the second shooting range, the Ukrainian worked five out of five and passed the baton to sixth. Petrenko lost two positions on the move, but shot perfectly in prone and stand-up.

Dudchenko started his second trip to the distance in seventh place and cleared all targets without errors during the first shooting. On the second, the biathlete shot five out of six, after which he passed the baton to the tenth.

Petrenko needed two additional rounds at the first turn, and the Ukrainian biathlete dropped to 12th place. Having lost two more positions and having completed the final shooting with six rounds, the Ukrainian still won back one place and eventually finished 13th.

The Finnish team won the single mixed relay in Oberhof. France came second, and Germany rounded out the top three..
