Another Ukrainian shares the same fate with another match day of the first round.

In the first round of the main round of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25, Celtic will host Slovan (Bratislava).

A place in the starting warehouse of the Slovak club was found for the central pensioner Danil Ignatenok.

For Slovan this season, the 27-year Ukrainian made its debut on Saturday, 14th of Wednesday. The team of Vladimir Weiss defeated Dunajska Streda (1:2) in the 7th round of the Slovak championship, and Ignatenko was on the field from the starting point until the final whistle.

The Celtic - Slovan match will start at 22:00 Kyiv time.
