Portuguese central defender of Porto Pepe became the oldest goal scorer in the history of the main club tournament of Europe.

The match against Antwerp had a 90+1 advantage for the “dragons”. This scoring strike became a historic goal for the new tournament.

Previously, the oldest goal scorer was Italian striker Romi Francesco Totti, who scored 38 goals, 1 month and 29 days against CSKA Moscow in 2014. The Portuguese had 40 lives and 256 days at the time of his goal at the gates of Antwerp.

Pepe is also the oldest field player in the history of the Champions League. This record was broken by the first one against the Belgians.
