UAF President Andriy Pavelko announced that next season it is planned to hold the Cup of Ukraine.

" In order for the UPL and PFL teams to make decisions on the next championship and matches, subject to the mandatory holding of the Ukrainian Cup. The clubs themselves have asked for the Cup to be optional this year.. We understand their needs and risks, we were on their side,"

Recall that the Cup of Ukraine of the 2021/2022 season was interrupted at the quarter-finals stage due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, and in the 2022/2023 season, the clubs decided to abandon the tournament.

The last winner of the Cup of Ukraine is Dynamo Kyiv, which in the spring of 2021 in Ternopil beat Zorya Lugansk in the final (2:1).
