President Volodymyr Zelensky and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a telephone conversation during which they agreed on positions ahead of the upcoming NATO summit.

According to the President of Ukraine in Telegram, the allies discussed the program of long-term defense cooperation, increased pressure on Russia.

It should be noted that on Sunday, April 30, Zelensky had a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. He confirmed the provision of a powerful armored package to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The President expects that decisions on security guarantees for Ukraine should be made at the summit in Vilnius and the procedure for inviting to the Alliance should be started.

Recall that the meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government will be held in Vilnius on July 11-12, 2023.
