Cyber \u200b\u200bpolice announced the exposure of a resident of Netishin, Khmelnytsky region, who sold information about citizens of Ukraine and the EU through a messenger. During the search, the man interfered with the actions of law enforcement officers and inflicted bodily injuries on a cyber police officer. The perpetrator was arrested.

The cyber police note that the 36-year-old man was the administrator of the channels in the Telegram messenger, where he sold personal data. In particular, he had access to information about passport data, taxpayer numbers, birth certificates, driver's licenses, bank account data.

Depending on the amount of data, the attacker asked for them from 500 to 2000 dollars. The buyers were citizens of Russia.

“The figurant was detained in accordance with Art.. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility,” the report says..

Earlier, the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories recalled what Ukrainians should do to protect their data on the Internet.
