On Sunday, April 23, a match of the World Ice Hockey Championship in Division ІB took place in Estonia, in which the national teams of China and Ukraine played.

The Ukrainian team started the tournament with a defeat, losing in overtime to the debutants of the division with a score of 4:5. Ukrainian hockey players led 2:0 during the meeting, but lost their advantage, conceding four goals in the second period.
