The National Bank of Ukraine introduced significant changes to the NBU BankID system - standardized data sets and differentiated intersubscriber tariffs. This is stated in the message of the regulator.

BankID is a way to remotely verify citizens through the bank where they are served. The service allows you to confirm the identity of a person at a distance without the need for personal presence.

The introduction of standardized data sets, each of which contains a unique combination of information about the user, will enhance the protection of data transmitted through the NBU BankID system.

Now the identifying bank will transfer to the institution only the amount of personal data of its client that is minimally necessary for the provision of the service (previously, the user's identification data was transmitted through the system in a single set).

The ability of a subscriber - a service provider - to use one or another standardized data set is determined by the type of service provided to the user.

This will allow subscribers to switch to more flexible differentiated inter-subscriber tariffs.

Now, instead of a single tariff for one successful confirmation of identification (in the amount of UAH 20), differentiated tariffs are offered (from UAH 5 to 20) depending on the amount of user data contained in a specific standardized set.
