Even during the war in Ukraine there are grant programs aimed at supporting businesses in the country. Thus, a grant program was launched to finance the creation or development of their own business by war veterans. The Ministry of Veterans told who and what grants can receive.

How much grant can you get?.

The Veterans Business Development Program was created at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Justice, other government agencies and the veteran community.

Grants can be received by veterans or their spouses. The funds received under the grant program will help anyone who has a plan, the necessary skills and desire to start their own business or expand a business.

The program provides for the following grants:.

250 thousand hryvnias - for a participant in hostilities and / or a person with a disability as a result of the war when creating one job;

UAH 500,000 - for the spouse of a participant in hostilities and/or a person with a disability as a result of the war, subject to the creation of two jobs;

UAH 1 million - for a participant in hostilities and / or a person with a disability as a result of the war, registered as an individual entrepreneur for at least 3 years, subject to the creation of four jobs, at least two of which will be occupied by veterans or persons with a disability as a result of the war.

The department noted that participants in the program will also be able to receive free assistance from the state through training on organizing entrepreneurship, as well as consultations in the regional centers " Business"
