In particular, the law tightens control over the use and circulation of pyrotechnic products.. The document contains a norm prohibiting fireworks and salutes in Ukraine.

Thus, the law prohibits the use and sale of fireworks, in particular salutes and firecrackers.. The only exceptions are class F1 fireworks, which have a very low level of danger and negligible noise (no more than 60 dB). Such pyrotechnic products can be used during legal holidays and non-working days, city days and other holidays in accordance with the decision of the local council and at sports competitions.

The law also prohibits the sale of fireworks to persons under the age of 16.. The law prescribes a ban on the use of any pyrotechnic products and fireworks, in particular salutes and firecrackers, in relation to animals during sports, entertainment events, video and photography.

The ban on the use of pyrotechnics does not apply to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the National Police and emergency services.

As for protected facilities, loud singing and shouting, the use of sound-reproducing equipment and other sources of domestic noise, the use of pyrotechnic products are prohibited there from 22:00 to 08:00.

The current legislation defines protected the following objects:.

residential buildings and residential areas;

medical, sanatorium and resort establishments;

boarding houses;

educational institutions;

cultural institutions;

hotels and hostels;

objects are located within the settlements of public catering, trade, consumer services;

parks, squares;

recreation areas are located on the territory of microdistricts and groups of residential buildings.
