As of March 1 this year, 65 banks held UAH 940.8 billion owned by individuals (of which UAH 590.7 billion or 63% are on demand). This is evidenced by the updated data of the National Bank.
Traditionally, most of the deposits are kept in the state-owned PrivatBank — UAH 334.7 billion.
According to the NBU, the state-owned Oschadbank is in second place — UAH 169.4 billion.
This is followed by the bank of foreign banking groups Raiffeisen Bank — UAH 58.5 billion and the private Universal Bank — UAH 51.5 billion. In fifth place is the bank of foreign banking groups Sens Bank — UAH 43.7 billion.
