The government has adopted amendments to regulations that simplify the identification of a person upon receipt of a qualified electronic signature (QES). This was written by the press office of the Ministry of Digital Development.

Now, when receiving trust services, including representatives of foreign legal entities, forming and issuing a qualified certificate for individuals or legal entities, you do not need to be present in person. You can verify your identity online.

The adopted document allows the use of more methods of identifying a person that operate in the EU countries when generating qualified certificates for all categories of users. These conditions will apply regardless of the effect of martial law in Ukraine.
