Receipts from private transfers to Ukraine from abroad in February this year amounted to 978 million. dollars. Compared to the same period last year, transfers fell by 16.5% (from 1,172 million. dollars). This is evidenced by the data of the National Bank (NBU).

According to NBU estimates, in January-February 2023, $1,945 million was received, which is 15.5% less than a year earlier ($2,302 million).

The NBU took into account in its calculations both formal and informal channels for transferring money to Ukraine.

The NBU clarified that in 2022 Ukraine received $12.973 billion, which is 7.5% less than a year earlier ($14.019 billion).
