As in the case of the opinion on the establishment of borders in 1991 (75% versus 70%), residents of the western regions of our state are most positive (99%), least of all in the eastern regions (95%).

The survey was conducted throughout Ukraine (with the exception of the occupied territories of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions) from February 1 to February 5, 2023 by interview method based on a random sample of numbers. In total, about 2,000 residents of Ukraine aged 18 and older were interviewed. The sample does not include citizens currently outside the state. The obtained survey data are weighted by regional and age indicators using the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine as of January 1, 2021. The error of representativeness does not exceed 2%. Respondent reach ratio – 16%. The survey was conducted with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
