The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a fatal accident in the Lviv region with the participation of the people's deputy from the Sugi People Volodymyr Gevko, in which a person died.

According to the State Bureau of Investigation, on March 19, in the evening, on the road “Ternopil – Lviv – Rava-Russkaya” in the Zolochevsky district of the Lviv region, a car driven by a people’s deputy hit a pedestrian.

“The incident occurred outside an unregulated pedestrian crossing. The victim died from his injuries. According to the data on the Drager device, the driver was sober,” the bureau said..

The night before, Gevko said that he became a participant in an accident with a deceased.

“Today there was a traffic accident that ended in tragedy. I was one of the participants in this terrible incident, the doctors, unfortunately, could not save the other, ”he wrote..

The deputy claims that he is cooperating with the investigation and passed all alcohol and drug tests, passed all the necessary tests and plans to participate in all legal proceedings.
