The amount of private transfers to Ukraine from other countries in January of this year amounted to $967 million. This is 4.7% less than a year earlier ($1,015 million). Such data was published by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

It is clarified that the assessments took into account both formal and informal channels for transferring money to Ukraine.

According to the NBU, for the whole of 2022, Ukraine received $13.073 billion, which is 6.7% less than a year earlier ($14.019 billion).

At the same time, the NBU worsened the forecast for transfers of labor migrants to Ukraine in 2023 from $16.4 billion to $15.9 billion.
