An application for registration of marriage can now be submitted on the Diya portal, said Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.

“10 minutes online instead of going to the GRAGS, filling out paper applications, checking with the state registrar, wasting time at the bank and other completely unromantic things,” he wrote on Monday morning.

On the portal, you can choose the place, time, format and hall where you plan to hold the ceremony. In response, GRAGS will send an e-mail with the answer and details of the ceremony. You need to come to GRAGS with passports only on the day of marriage.

Currently, not all State Registrars of Civil Status are connected to this service, however, in each region there are several institutions among which you can choose one or another.

You can sign the application using an electronic signature or Diya. Signatures that can be issued quickly.

At the same time, there is no talk of marriage online, according to the portal..

“You can register a marriage only in the GRAGS department with the personal presence of the bride and groom,” they say in Diy.

The cost of registering a marriage after an online application is the same as when submitting offline documents - from UAH 0.85 to UAH 1649.85 - depending on the selected services and the day the marriage was registered.
