Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina successfully started her performance at the WTA 125 tournament in French Limoges.

The first racket of Ukraine (No. 47 WTA) in the starting round of the competition beat the representative of France Carol Monnet (No. 204 WTA). The 25-year-old native of Nova Kakhovka overcame her four-year-old junior opponent in two sets - 6:4, 6:0.

In the next round, Kalinina will play against another Frenchwoman - 17-year-old Jenny Lim. The match will take place on Tuesday, December 13.

Recall that last week Kalinina reached the semi-finals of the WTA 125 tournament in Angers, France, thanks to which she returned to the top 50 of the world ranking.
