Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi proposed to the UN Security Council to create a nuclear safety zone at the Russian-occupied Zaporozhye NPP.

He tweeted about it..

“I have just applied to the UN Security Council and proposed the creation of a nuclear safety zone at the ZNPP. This proposal is based on the conclusions of our commission after visiting the power plant, as set out in our report,” he wrote..

How exactly this should be implemented, he did not elaborate..

Has only addressed #UNSC and joint propone to the creation of the Nuclear Safety and Security Protection Zone (NSSPZ) in #Zaporizhzhya. This is based on the consideration from our mission to the imperial structure presented in our new post.. https://t. co/duM5UQYQrU.

At the same time, the report does not contain information about those responsible for the shelling of a nuclear facility, but the document notes "
